“Every child is Special” – With this belief Prayatna Counselling and Early Intervention Program was conceptuatlised in the year 2010. There was a dearth of Counsellors and various therapies under one roof in Ahmedabad . Having all the therapies under one roof and having it monitored by experienced and quality professionals was the dream.
We at Prayatna believe that Early Intervention is a perfect gateway to Inclusive Environment for a child. We aim at Early Intervention for a child who shows delay in his developments. With on going therapies and parent counselling the child enters an Inclusive environment. Over the Years Prayatna has been blessed by many happy parents which is not only a matter of pride but a matter of great work satisfaction. This has strengthened our will power and our belief to work towards Inclusion. We conduct workshops an various awareness campaign to create a better understanding about INCLUSION.
Prayatna is driven by a team of professional and experts specialized in Occupational therapy, Sensory integration (SI), Handwriting Intervention, Speech therapy, Therapy for Oro-motor/sensory and feeding issues, Child psychology, Behavioural Therapy, special education, Remedial Education, Counselling for Nocturnal Enuresis (Bedwetting), Counselling a parent about age appropriate milestones in a child.

Prayatna Trust is registered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Its registration number is E1217901, Ahmedabad on 29th April 2017.
The Vision of the Trust is “All children in India obtain age appropriate education”. The objective focus is on implementing change at grass root level. The trust aims to put every child that the trust directly works with on a different life path through focus on rigorous academic growth, values and mindsets, exposure and importance of quality education. Trust also focuses on the role every person involved has to play in achieving the goals for the children. The Trust aims to provide medical, therapeutic, recreational, and educational services to severely disabled children unable to commute daily, with lodging and boarding facilities along with Braille and Talking books for visually impaired.
